Mastering Tourbillons. BOVET has been designing and producing its own tourbillons, widely considered the highest complication in watchmaking, for decades. The in-house flying tourbillon in the Récital 26 Brainstorm®️ Chapter Two is exposed at the 6 o’clock position, with space all around it so it is easy to appreciate. Now available in Red Gold, this timepiece won the Mechanical Exception award at watchmaking’s Oscars (the GPHG) in 2020.
Time Around the World. In today’s world, you need to know what time it is in many places around the world. You might live in New York, but you need to know the time in Singapore, Moscow, Dubai, and Geneva in order to make your business successful. With the new Récital 26 Brainstorm®️ Chapter Two, now available in solid 18K Red Gold, the easy-to-use and read world time indication at 3 o’clock shows you the world at a glance. One time is indicated by the special hand that frames the chosen time zone, but all the other cities are always visible and easy to read.
To the Moon. The Récital 26 Brainstorm®️ Chapter Two features a unique precision moon phase display showing both hemispheres at the same time. The hand-engraved lunar surface at 9 o’clock, filled with Super-LumiNova, rotates in sync with the lunar cycles and will only require only a one-day correction every 127 years. An open-worked figure-eight structure highlights the portion of the Moon that is visible in either hemisphere.
Power for Days. Known for its long power reserves (BOVET holds the world record with a pocket watch made in 1910 with 370 days of power reserve), the five days this timepiece will run without having to be rewound makes ultimate sense given the world time function at the 3 o’clock position. When you are traveling, you don’t want to have to worry about your timepiece winding down and having to reset your world time indication.
Sustaining Tradition. Founded in 1822, BOVET has always been known for delicate and beautiful engraving. When producing timepieces for the Chinese market in the 1800s, the brand was the first to hand-engrave the compete movement, showcasing its artistry and mechanical mastery. In the Récital 26 Brainstorm Chapter Two, now available in Red Gold, every piece and part is finely finished to the highest standard, and the back of the flying tourbillon movement is fully engraved. The attention to detail and the artistry on full display is truly remarkable.
