Labormatic Superleggero
Labormatic Superleggero
THE BEAUTY OF LIGHTNESS
Every Gagà Laboratorio creation begins with a question. Not how to design another watch, but how to imagine another world. The Labormatic has always been our interpretation of a place that never truly existed, yet somehow feels familiar. An optimistic world where design, architecture, engineering and imagination evolved without compromise, creating objects that were both functional and deeply emotional.
With the Superleggero Limited Edition, the story takes a new direction. This time, we imagined a world captivated by the quest of lightness and its elegance. A world where visionary coachbuilders, experimental racing machines and handcrafted performance cars shaped a new aesthetic, one built not only around power, but around elegance. Where every unnecessary gram disappeared, every surface served a purpose, and every mechanical solution became an expression of beauty.
IMAGINATION INSPIRED BY HISTORY
Titanium became the natural material for this new chapter. Its extraordinary lightness changes the relationship between the object and the wrist, giving the LABORMATIC an entirely different character. Yet the material itself is only part of the story. More important is what it represents: a philosophy where performance is achieved through intelligence rather than excess, and where technical innovation is inseparable from emotional design. The name Superleggero carries this idea perfectly.
UNMISTAKABLY ITALIAN
Superleggero evokes a culture of lightness, not only in weight, but in thought. A philosophy that transformed engineering into elegance and mechanics into sculpture. Throughout the watch, subtle references reinforce this imaginary world. Metallic reflections, transparent elements, purposeful proportions and restrained sporting details recall the atmosphere of workshops, experimental prototypes and beautifully crafted machines, conceived as much with the heart as with the mind.
"Labormatic Superleggero is a tribute to an idea, to an imaginary world where beauty is engineered, performance is elegant, and lightness becomes an art."
