The fighter aircraft’s propellers beat the air insistently on the tarmac. The open cockpit exhales the smell of the fuel and mechanics. The pilot adjusts his suit, and all he needs to do now is to slip on his goggles and then take off in his conquest of the skies. As he reaches his peak, the smoke trails carve patterns in the sky, reminding the pilot that he alone is in charge of the speed and the trajectory. It is here in this time and space that movement and rigour make their mark in a surge of adrenalin.
